Rules for Visiting the VARA VARA Aquacity
General Provisions for Visiting the Aquacity- Before paying for the services provided by the Aquacity and receiving the electronic bracelet, the visitor must familiarize themselves with the Rules for Visiting the Aquacity. Payment and receipt of the electronic bracelet confirm that the visitor has read these Rules, fully agrees with them, and undertakes to comply with them, accepting the risk of any adverse consequences in case of violation.
- The right to visit the Aquacity is granted only after payment for services at the ticket office or on the official website and is confirmed by issuing an electronic bracelet at the Aquacity ticket office.
- Minor visitors with a height of up to 90 cm are admitted to the Aquacity free of charge.
- Minor visitors with a height from 90 cm to 1 meter 40 cm are admitted at a special children's rate.
- Minor visitors taller than 1 meter 40 cm are admitted at the adult rate.
- Children aged 14 and older may visit the Aquacity without being accompanied by an adult. Parents or adults accompanying children must supervise children under 8 years old at all times while on the territory of the Aquacity, including on water attractions. The accompanying adult bears full responsibility for the children in their care. One accompanying adult may supervise no more than 5 children.
- When visiting independently, security at the entrance may request an identity document with a photograph to confirm age and may deny entry if such document is not provided.
- The electronic bracelet serves as the entrance ticket to the Aquacity. It allows one entry and one exit and also provides credit used to pay for additional services inside the Aquacity. Children's bracelets are not accepted for payment.
- For the purchase of meals, confectionery, and drinks in Aquacity food outlets, the visitor is provided with credit according to the paid tariff. This credit is not included in the cost of the entry service. Goods and services purchased using this credit must be paid for (credit repaid) at the additional payment cashier upon exit, or via self-service terminals.
- The electronic bracelet is the property of the Aquacity. The visitor is responsible for its safekeeping and integrity. It must be worn on the wrist and presented upon request of Aquacity Administration. Transferring a bracelet to other persons is prohibited. Upon exit from the Aquacity, the bracelet must be returned to the duty administrator at the turnstile.
- When receiving the electronic bracelet, the visitor must inspect it visually without leaving the cashier and ensure there are no damages. Claims regarding damages discovered after leaving the cashier area will not be accepted or reviewed by the Administration.
- In case of loss or damage to the electronic bracelet, the visitor must immediately inform the Aquacity Administration representative. Damage includes any action or inaction of the visitor resulting in the bracelet losing its functionality and becoming unusable.
- The total number of visitors allowed simultaneously in the Aquacity is limited. To ensure comfort and safety, once the maximum capacity is reached, the Administration may temporarily suspend the sale of entry services.
- The time spent in the Aquacity is monitored by the visitor independently.
- Visitors may stay in the Aquacity only during its established operating hours.
- Ticket sales stop 30 minutes before closing time.
- Entry and exit through the Aquacity turnstiles are possible only by using the electronic bracelets.
- For safety purposes, video surveillance is conducted throughout the entire Aquacity.
- Gift cards for visiting AquaCity Vara Vara issued in the first, second, and third summer seasons (2022, 2023, 2024) are invalid in 2025. Gift cards issued in the current year (2025) may only be used during the 2025 summer season. These cards are not valid for the winter project and cannot be used in 2026.
- The Administration is not responsible for adverse weather conditions and does not provide compensation in such situations.
Rules and Conditions for Visitors’ Stay at the Aquacity- The start of the Aquacity visit is considered the moment of crossing the turnstiles located near the payment counters at the entrance, and the end of the visit is considered the moment of crossing the same turnstiles on exit. Re-entry through the central turnstile without purchasing a new ticket is not permitted.
- It is prohibited to bring food, water, or beverages through the turnstiles, except for factory-sealed baby food for children up to 3 years old inclusive.
- After passing through the turnstile, the Guest must change into a swimsuit (swimwear) in an individual changing cabin and put on rubber-soled footwear (flip-flops, beach sandals, etc.). Changing clothes outside the designated cabins is prohibited.
- The visitor must store their clothes, street shoes, and personal belongings in their assigned locker, which opens and closes using the electronic bracelet.
- Before entering the Aquacity, the visitor must take a shower using cleaning products. To avoid injuries and cuts, the use of cleaning products in glass containers in the shower areas is prohibited.
- Remaining on the territory of the Aquacity beyond the time paid for according to the purchased tariff is subject to additional payment at the Aquacity top-up cashier, according to the overstay tariff, charged for each exceeded minute.
- The visitor may end their session early and leave the Aquacity at any time. No refunds are provided for unused time.
- Visitors must comply with all requirements of Aquacity Administration representatives regarding safety, cleanliness, hygiene, and order.
- Visitors may stay on the territory and use Aquacity services according to the signage located throughout the facility.
- Minor visitors under 3 years old must wear special waterproof diapers.
- If a visitor experiences any discomfort or injury, they must immediately contact the medical station located on the territory of the Aquacity.
- In case of unforeseen technical malfunctions of individual attractions making their use impossible, no reduction in the entry fee is provided, and no refunds are issued.
- The number of sunbeds and special descent equipment provided free of charge is limited and corresponds to safety requirements.
Rules for Attending Evening Events- Evening events may be held on the territory of the Aquacity according to the schedule set by the Administration.
- Entrance to evening events requires a separate ticket, which must be paid for independently of the standard daytime entrance tariff, in accordance with the current child and adult rates.
- On days when private events are held, access to evening programs is regulated separately according to the schedule approved by the Administration.
- Visitors who entered the Aquacity during regular hours (including at child or adult rates) have the right to attend evening events held on the same day. An additional credit of 200 lei is automatically added to their account according to the set schedule.
Rules for Visiting the Aquacity Water Entertainment Zone- Entry into the water entertainment zone is permitted only in swimwear (swimsuits, swimming trunks) and rubber-soled footwear. Visitors are prohibited from being in the Aquacity in underwear or without swimwear, including children.
- Children under 3 years old may enter water only in special waterproof diapers.
- The order of access to all attractions is regulated by the Aquacity lifeguard instructors.
- Before descending water slides, the Guest must carefully read the attraction rules, as water slides have weight, age, and health restrictions.
- Visitors may begin descent only with the permission of the lifeguard instructor, after the previous visitor has landed and cleared the landing zone.
- To avoid spinning or overturning during the slide descent, visitors must keep the initial descent position indicated in the Rules for each slide.
- To avoid injury, after descending the slide, the visitor must immediately leave the landing area.
Rules for Payment of Additional Services Provided at the Aquacity- Food services and other paid services may be paid for using the credit provided (via the electronic bracelet). In case the provided credit is exceeded, the visitor may add additional funds to the electronic bracelet after repaying the credit at the Aquacity top-up cashier or at self-service terminals.
- Paid services on the territory of the Aquacity may also be paid for in non-cash form (using a bank card).
Visitors of the Aquacity are PROHIBITED from:- Jumping and diving into the water from the edges of pools and jacuzzis, holding each other underwater, practicing breath-holding underwater, shouting, or performing acrobatic jumps.
- Walking quickly or running to avoid falls and injuries.
- Smoking, including electronic cigarettes and other alternative smoking devices, anywhere on the Aquacity premises. Smoking electronic cigarettes is prohibited due to the large number of children present, who may form incorrect social perceptions upon seeing smoking adults.
- Conducting trade, advertising, or any other commercial activity without appropriate authorization from the Administration.
- Bringing firearms, pneumatic or cold weapons, sharp objects, as well as explosive, flammable, or toxic substances into the Aquacity for safety reasons.
- Bringing food, water, or beverages, except factory-sealed baby food for children up to 3 years old inclusive.
- Leaving personal footwear in a way that obstructs other visitors or staff when using pools, attractions, or water slides.
- Interacting with or tampering with any engineering or technical equipment of the Aquacity.
- Allowing children over 3 years old to enter shower areas of the opposite sex.
Visitors are prohibited from entering the Aquacity if they:- have open wounds, infectious or skin diseases, or are wearing medical dressings or adhesive bandages;
- are in a state of alcohol, drug, or other intoxication, or are under the influence of medication that impairs attention and reaction speed;
- display behavior that may pose a threat to order, safety, or hygiene at the Aquacity, or that contradicts accepted social norms of behavior;
- do not possess an electronic bracelet;
- are accompanied by dogs, cats, or other animals, birds, reptiles, etc.
Descending Water Slides is Prohibited for Individuals:- wearing outer clothing or shoes;
- with heart conditions, musculoskeletal or vestibular disorders, chronic illnesses in acute stages, claustrophobia, epilepsy, seizure disorders, or for pregnant women;
- with long loose hair (hair longer than 20 cm must be tied and secured with a hairband);
- wearing masks with snorkels, fins, goggles (including swimming goggles), watches, hair clips, bracelets, rings, or any other accessories;
- wearing swimwear with loose elements, belts, rivets, buckles, or swimwear containing metal accessories, hard plastic elements, or connecting pieces;
- if water flow is not supplied to the slide.
Using Pools is Prohibited for Visitors:- wearing outer clothing or shoes;
- who cannot swim or swim poorly from entering deep areas of the pools;
- with long loose hair longer than 20 cm (hair must be tied and secured with a hairband);
- wearing masks with snorkels, fins, goggles, watches, hair clips, bracelets, rings, or other accessories, as well as using flotation devices (mermaid tails, swimming gloves, etc.);
- using rafts in any pools except designated landing pools.
During the Slide Descent, it is Prohibited to:- grab slide structures, stop on the descent track, brake, wave arms or legs, flip over, or stand up during the descent;
- swing rafts (rings) from side to side;
- push off the railings or starting structures to gain additional acceleration when starting the descent;
- enter any technical or service areas of the Aquacity;
- pay for services in cash on the territory of the Aquacity;
- climb onto the fencing of starting platforms, decorations, pipes, or railings, slide on railings, or climb on steel structures.
Visitors who violate the prohibitions listed in this section bear full responsibility for harm caused to their own health, the health of other visitors, and any resulting material damage.
Responsibilities and Rights of Aquacity VisitorsThe Visitor has the right to:- receive all paid services in full;
- be provided with a safe stay on the premises of the Aquacity.
The Visitor is obliged to:- comply with these Rules;
- for the purpose of ensuring public safety and preventing terrorist threats, present the contents of personal belongings to the representatives of the Administration for visual inspection;
- follow the requirements of the Administration regarding safety, order, and cleanliness on the Aquacity premises;
- immediately inform the Aquacity Administration in case of theft or damage to property;
- monitor their own time spent in the Aquacity;
- take care of their personal belongings;
- read safety rules and instructions for the use of water attractions and pools before using them, and assess the degree of risk and potential consequences independently;
- seek help at the Aquacity medical station in case of any discomfort or injury;
- not disturb the rest of other visitors;
- keep the receipt for paid services and deposited funds (advance payment) until exiting the Aquacity;
- upon exit, pay for all services rendered if the visitor used the provided credit recorded on the electronic bracelet, and return the electronic bracelet;
- treat Aquacity property with care;
- dispose of trash only in designated containers;
- immediately leave the Aquacity in cases of unforeseen, emergency, or critical situations.
Visitors may obtain necessary information about safety rules and the use of attractions and pools from Aquacity instructors, from these Rules, and from instructions and signs located directly at the attractions.
Responsibilities and Rights of the AdministrationThe Administration is obliged to:- provide complete and accurate information about the procedure and cost of provided services;
- organize the placement, training, and continuous presence of Aquacity personnel in visitor areas to ensure safe water-based activities;
- use only such consumables and equipment for services that comply with safety requirements according to established norms.
The Administration has the right to:- deny access to the Aquacity premises to persons:
- under 14 years of age without adult supervision;
- whose behavior may disrupt order, pose danger to other visitors, or negatively affect hygiene conditions of the Aquacity, or contradict accepted social norms;
- who refuse to comply with these Rules or do not understand them;
- stop or suspend the operation of any attraction or all attractions of the Aquacity in the following cases:
- sanitary maintenance, scheduled or emergency repairs, technical breaks related to equipment specifics, emergency situations beyond the Administration’s control, unfavorable weather conditions affecting visitor safety, as well as force majeure circumstances such as natural disasters (floods, earthquakes), technological accidents (equipment failures, power outages), strikes, war, actions of state authorities, or any other circumstances beyond the Administration’s control that make it impossible to provide services;
- stop accepting payments and restrict visitor access in case the Aquacity reaches maximum capacity;
- conduct visual inspections of personal belongings for safety purposes;
- refuse services or remove visitors from the Aquacity premises in case of violation of these Rules or attempts to disturb other visitors’ recreation.
In case of removal from the premises, no refunds are provided for unused services.
Liability of the PartiesThe Administration is responsible for failure to provide or improper provision of services in accordance with applicable legislation of the Republic of Moldova.Claims related to deficiencies in Aquacity services may be submitted by visitors only in written form.The procedure and deadlines for handling visitor claims, as well as liability for violating these deadlines, are governed by current Moldovan legislation.
The Aquacity Visitor is liable:- for damage caused to the Aquacity; the visitor must compensate the damage in full;
- in case of loss of an electronic bracelet purchased at the adult rate — a compensation equal to the maximum credit amount plus 150 lei for the bracelet itself will be charged;
- in case of loss or damage of a child-rate electronic bracelet — a compensation of 150 lei will be charged;
- for smoking on the Aquacity premises — an administrative fine of 500 lei will be imposed;
- for malfunctions and accidents resulting from tampering with Aquacity engineering or technical equipment;
- the Administration is not responsible for unsupervised minors under 14 years old;
- the Aquacity Administration is not responsible for valuables left or lost on the premises. Claims are not accepted, and compensation is not provided;
- if a visitor violates the Aquacity rules and/or attraction usage instructions, or ignores commands, warnings, and requirements of Aquacity personnel resulting in injury, damage, or loss of property, the Administration does not review claims and bears no responsibility. No compensation will be provided;
- in case of an incident causing harm, the visitor must immediately contact a lifeguard to document the time, location, and circumstances. If this rule is not followed, claims will not be reviewed;
- the Aquacity is not liable for health or property damage suffered by visitors or third parties, nor does it accept claims if such consequences arise from failure to follow these Rules, posted warnings, or lawful instructions of Aquacity personnel.
The Aquacity Administration warns:- When using attractions (sliding on water slides), certain swimwear may become damaged due to the nature of the slide surface and sliding mechanism. Claims regarding damaged swimwear are not accepted. The cost of swimwear is not compensated.
- Descending slides or using attractions with body piercings or jewelry may lead to injury. In such cases, the visitor assumes full responsibility for any injuries resulting from failure to remove jewelry or body piercings.
